Amanda Beser

Amanda Beser is studying the Master's programme "Comparative Literature and Art Studies" at the University of Potsdam. She supports Dr Joanna Staśkiewicz as a student assistant. In addition to her interest in gamification, vestimentary and theriomorphs of various kinds, she is passionate about queer reading. For example, she is dedusting the German-Baltic author Siegfried von Vegesack in her master's thesis, which is currently in progress, by analysing his Pastoratshasen from a pop perspective. Amanda Beser has been writing as a freelance author for the highest-circulation Berlin city magazine SIEGESSÄULE and the lesbian magazine L.MAG for around four years. In her freetime she can often be found in Berlin theatres.
